Now that Holiday Season has arrived, here are some notable changes to the regularly scheduled trash & recycling pickups by American Disposal Services.
Holiday Trash & Recycling Pickup Schedule
Thanksgiving Day,
Christmas Day,
& New Year’s Day:
American Disposal Services will be closed on these days and no services will be provided. That means NO Trash or Recycling pickup on those days. Recycling ONLY will be picked up on the Saturday after the holiday. Trash will be collected as usual on the following Monday.

Yard Debris Collection
Yard debris collection (leaves, branches, grass, etc) ends December 24th, 2014 and doesn’t resume until the first week of March 2015. If you have yard debris in the meantime you can place it on the curbside on the 2nd collection day.
Christmas Tree Collection
Christmas trees will be collected on Janurary 7th and January 14th.
Please remove all tinsel and decorations.
Do not place trees in plastic bags.
Inclement Weather
Roads deemed unsafe by American Disposal Services due to snow or ice will be suspended for collection. If suspension occurs, services will resume on the next regularly scheduled collection day.
